take advantage of sth/sb
利用、利用……的机会；欺骗、占……的便宜
在英语中，我们可以用 take advantage of sth/sb 这个习惯用语表达两层意思。一层意思常用 ake advantage of sth 表示“利用、利用……的机会”，多指在某种情况下善用某物，比如：
- 她趁孩子们不在时收拾了他们的房间。
She took advantage of the children's absence to tidy their rooms. - 我想趁我在这儿期间，要好好利用一下这里的体育设施。
I thought I'd take advantage of the sports facilities while I'm here.
另一层则是指“欺骗、占……的便宜”，多指不公平或不诚实的方式利用某人或某物，比如：
- 我认为她利用他善良的本性占他的便宜。
I think she takes advantage of his good nature. - 我知道她主动提出来照看我们的孩子，但是我不想让她觉得我们在占她的便宜。
I know she's offered to babysit, but I don't want her to think we're taking advantage of her.
