wish 后的宾语从句中需要使用虚拟语气，而且很多单词、短语后的从句中也会使用相同形式的虚拟语气，因此将这类虚拟语气的用法统称为wish类虚拟语气。主要考点包括：

1. wish后的宾语从句中表示对现在的虚拟用一般过去时，表示对过去的虚拟用过去完成时。would rather/would sooner/would as soon后的宾语从句中使用同样的虚拟语气。比如：

• I would rather I were not here.
• I wish I had never got involved in the whole affair.

2. as if/though, even if/though, if only 等引导的状语从句中使用 wish 类的虚拟语气。比如：

• He treats me as if I were a stranger.
• Why she spoke as if she had never met me before?

3. It's (high/about) time... 结构中，使用动词的一般过去时表示现在或者将来的情况，意为“是时候做某事了”。比如：

• It's high time we turned our attention to the problem of drunk driving.
