accrue—generally，to accumulate，to happen，to come into factor existence;as to a cause of action，to come into existence as an enforceable claim;as to a debt or bank account，the coming due of interest on principal sum．The point at which a cause of action is said to accrue also affects the length of time that a prospective plaintiff may wait to bring a suit under the statute of limitations．
