深入解读
Heresy 一词源自希腊语 hairesis （为自己拿取或选择，选择，拿取的方式；深思熟虑的计划，目的；哲学派别，学派），先后经拉丁语 hæresis （思想学派、哲学派别）和古法语 heresie, eresie （宗教异端，扩展指“鸡奸、不道德”）于13世纪进入英语后，也是用来表示“宗教异端、异端邪说”以及“信奉异教、持异端邪说”，即与正统宗教（尤其是基督教）教义相反或者说严重不合的信仰或观点。
从这个概念出发， heresy 很自然地就被用来引申指与大多数人普遍接受的观点大相径庭的或者说离经叛道的“异端、邪说”，包括对主流或官方的理论、观点或实践的异议或偏离，比如：
