深入解读
Trek 是一个小站（微信公众号：田间小站）曾在 熟词僻义 | game是一种什么动物？ 中提到过的单词，同时也很容易让人联想起经典科幻影视系列《星际迷航》（Star Trek）来。
该词源自荷兰语 trekken （行进、旅行），1849年经南非荷兰语 trek 进入英语后原作名词指“牛车旅行”或牛车旅行中的“一段旅程”，作动词表示“乘牛车或其他畜拉车旅行或迁移”，比如骑骡旅行（a mule trek）。
从这个概念出发， trek 到了1941年后开始用来泛指“长途旅行、长途跋涉、翻山越岭”，尤指在山区、森林中进行的漫长而艰苦的步行，持续数天或数周。
由于这种旅行非常令人困乏，故此当我们平时走路累了的时候，可以用“it's a bit of a trek”喻指“这段路有点儿累人”。
