英译汉常见错误 | come

［例句］

• A: What's your age…about sixty, I take it?
  B: No, I'm nearly seventy. I'm an old man.
  A: Come, come, seventy isn't old nowadays.

［误译］

• A：你多大……我看六十左右吧？
  B：不，我差不多七十了，我是个老头了。
  A：来，来（靠近点），现在七十岁并不算老。

［原意］

• A：你多大……我看六十左右吧？
  B：不，我差不多七十了，我是个老头了。
  A：得啦，得啦。现在七十岁并不算老。

［说明］　第三句的come不是动词而是感叹词，表示不同意对方的说法，有“得啦”之意。第一句的take it (that)意为“认为”、“猜想”。
