nourish、feed与graze这些动词均含“提供所需食物，喂养”之意。

nourish : 指提供生长、健康或维持生存所必需的食物或养料，尤指用营养品促进生长。

• All the children were well nourished and in good physical condition.
  所有这些孩子都营养良好，身体健康。

feed : 普通用词，含义广泛。既可指给人或动物提供食物，又可指给植物以养料或为机器等加燃料等。

• Have you fed the cat yet?
  你喂了猫没有？
• The baby can't feed itself yet (= can't put food into its own mouth).
  这个婴儿还不能自己吃东西。

graze : 侧重指用正在生长的青草喂养牲畜。

• There were cows grazing beside the river.
  有些牛在河边吃草。
• The field had been grazed by sheep.
  这块地羊已经啃过了。
