desirous

1.desirous后面接of和动名词比接不定式普通，如desirous of seeing him比desirous to see him普通。

2.可以说I am desirous for you to read all these essays。

3.desirous后面接以that引导的从句现在比较少用，大都用在公文和商业文件里。那从句里用should。例如：We are desirous that the reports should be ready by the end of the week.
