disposal相当于dispose of，disposition相当于dispose。如the disposal of the books是“这些书的处置”，如“藏起来”或“卖掉”，the disposition of the books是“这些书的安排”，指“排列”。at your（或his等）disposal和at your（或his等）disposition意思相同，作“听任支配”解。例如：It is at your disposal（或disposition），现在多用disposal。
