1.fond后面接of，如He is fond of his children和She is fond of reading aloud。不可接不定式，如不可说She is fond to read aloud。

2.说“很喜爱”该说very fond，不该说much fond。

3.fond指惯常的爱好，不指一时的爱好，如不可说I am fond of talk today或I shall be fond of seeing you again next Wednesday。也不可说always fond和often fond。

4.“不喜欢”习惯上不说not fond of，如习惯上不说She is not fond of reading aloud。可以改作She does not care to read aloud。
