hate

1.说“恨”把hate用作名词现在很不普通，该用hatred。但说“被恨的事物”该用hate，不可用hatred。例如：His chief hates are gambling and lying.

2.hate（动词）后面接不定式通常指一次的事，如I hate to disappoint you, but I'm afraid I can't help you in this matter。接动名词通常指经常的事，如I hate disappointing my friends。

3.hate后面有时接宾语和不定式。例如：She hates him to be laughed at. 有时接以that引导的从句，从句里用should。例如：She hates that he should be laughed at.
