1.inform不可有双宾语，如不可说He has informed me his new address，该在his前面加上of。
2.inform不可用作“报告（事件）”解，如不可说He has informed his new address to me，该改作He has informed me of his new address。
3.inform后面不可没有宾语而直接接以that引导的从句，如不可说I have to inform that I have removed to the above given address，该在inform后面加上you。
4.Please inform me where to get tickets和I should like to be informed when the meeting is to take place等句子里在where，when等词前面通常没有of。
5.inform不及tell通俗。
