mention

1.mention现在只用作及物动词，后面不可接介词，如不可说He does not mention about（或of）his parents in his letter，该把about或of删去。

2.mention后面可以接动名词或以that引导的从句，不可接不定式，如可以说He mentions hearing from her often和He mentions that he hears from her often，不可说He mentions to hear from her often。

3.注意make mention of中用make。

4.worth mention和worth mentioning都可以说。
