无障碍环境建设法草案近日提请十四届全国人大常委会第二次会议二次审议。有数据显示，我国现有残疾人约8500万，截至2021年底我国60岁及以上的老年人已有2.67亿，加上有无障碍需求的孕妇、儿童、伤病人员等，人数合计数亿人。
A draft law on the building of a barrier-free environment was submitted to the second session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress for a second reading on April 24. Hundreds of millions of people in China have need of barrier-free facilities. China had about 85 million people with disabilities, and 267 million elderly people aged 60 and above as of the end of 2021. Other categories that benefit from such facilities include pregnant women, children, and the sick and injured.
