[正] The teacher answered the students’ questions.
[注] 名词 question (a thing asked in order to find out) 指需要回答的“问题”，如：

• I asked the teacher some questions about biology.
  我问了老师几个生物学的问题。

problem (a difficulty that needs attention and thought) 指需要注意、思考和解决的某种“困难问题”。如：

• The unemployment problem in that area is getting better.
  该地区失业问题正有所好转。
• It is not easy to solve the problem of food and housing in flood-striken areas.
  解决水灾灾区吃饭、住房问题不是件容易事。

涉及到数字、事实的问题，需要考虑和回答时，亦可用 problem，如：

• My three-year-old son can already do simple problems in addition and subtraction.
  我3岁的儿子已经可以做简单的加减题。

question亦可作“需要解决的困难或事物”解，此时可与problem通用，如：

• If it is only a question of a few minutes, I can stay.
  如果那只是几分钟的事，我可以留下来。
