汉译英常见错误 | 凶手躲藏在角落里

[译] 凶手躲藏在角落里。
[误] The murderer concealed on the corner.

[正] The murderer concealed himself on the corner.
[注] 动词 conceal ( = hide ) 意为“隐藏”是及物动词，后面须跟宾语，如：The boy concealed the ball behind his back. 那个男孩把球藏在背后。如作“躲藏”解，后面须加宾语 oneself。
