柏林电影节

The Berlin International Film Festival is one of the world's leading film festivals and most reputable media events. It is held in Berlin, Germany. Founded in West Berlin in the summer of 1951, the festival has been celebrated annually in February since 1978. With around 300,000 tickets sold and 500,000 admissions, it is considered the largest publicly attended film festival worldwide based on actual attendance rates. Up to 400 films are shown in several sections, representing a comprehensive array of the cinematic world. Around twenty films compete for the awards called the Golden and Silver Bears.
柏林国际电影节是世界顶尖级电影节之一，是著名的媒体盛宴，在德国柏林举行。柏林电影节始于1951年夏的西柏林，1978年开始改为每年的2月举行。该电影节每年大约售出30万张门票，有50多万入场人次，是世界范围内按照实际出席率计算规模最大的电影节。每届有多达400部影片参展，作品涵盖了世界影坛的各个角落。参与角逐“金熊奖”和“银熊奖”的候选影片达到20部左右。

The trophy for this festival is a saluting bear with its arms rising. The Golden Bear is the highest prize awarded for the best films, which can be categorized as the Best Motion Picture, Lifetime Achievement (Honorary Golden Bear). The Silver Bear was introduced in 1956 as an award for individual achievements in direction and acting, and for best short film. In 1978, a Silver Bear for special recognition was introduced, in 2002 a Silver Bear for best film music, and in 2008 an award for best screenplay.
柏林国际电影节的标志物是一只抬起手臂向人们致意的柏林熊。“金熊奖”是柏林电影节最高荣誉奖项，授予最佳故事片和终身成就奖(又称荣誉金熊奖)。1956年设立“银熊奖”，授予最佳导演、最佳男女演员和最佳短片等。自1978年起授予杰出艺术成就奖，自2002年起授予最佳电影配乐奖，自2008年起授予最佳剧本银熊奖。

The festival is composed of seven different film sections. Films are chosen in each category by a section director with the advice of a committee of film experts. In 2014, the Chinese film Black Coal, Thin Ice won the Golden Bear for Best Film and its leading actor Liao Fan was awarded the Silver Bear for Best Actor for his outstanding performance.
柏林电影节有7大电影竞赛单元，每一单元的评选都有一位主管人，且在一位电影评委会专家的指导下进行。2014年中国影片《白日焰火》赢得金熊奖最佳影片奖，男主演廖凡凭其精湛演技斩获银熊奖最佳男演员奖。
