有人问到课文中有一句是这样的：

为什么不用复数homes?

这里的our home乃指“我们每一个人的家”，再如：

(2)Every day more than 4 hours are wasted on commuting between our home and factory. （between our home and factory意为“在我们每一个人的家与工厂之间”）

(3)Write out the plural form of the following nouns. （the plural form指下面每一个名词的复数形式）

一般不可说our homes或the plural forms of the following nouns, 因为前者会意味着“我们每一个人有一个以上的家”，后者会意味着“下面的每一个名词有一种以上的复数形式”。
