是否应选B，然而老师却说应选A，为什么？
你的老师是对的，应选A。第一空白应填as far as或so far as，但took ship则必须后接介词for+目的地，再如：
(2)What time are you leaving for Shanghai?
(3)I'll get on the near plane for London.
