此句中的in应作何解释,语法上作什么?
我们手头无此书,故不知上下文如何。如无特殊情况,in that一般被看作是一短语连词,不再作内部分析,其义相当于because,再如:
(2)This is not a good plant for your garden in that its seeds are poisonous.
(3)The evidence is invalid in that it was obtained through illegal means.
