有一读者问: there is no question...

there is no question 之后可接介词 of 或 about, 也可接 that 从句。

(1)There is no question that he will succeed.

(2)There is no question that he was involved in this affair.

但当 there is no question 后接 of (有时亦可后接 about)时,问题就有点复杂了。

(3)There is no question about his honesty.

(4)There is no question of his guilt.

(5)You've got to tell them the exact truth. There's really no question about it.

(6)There was absolutely no question about the diagnosis: she had lung cancer.

(7)There is no question of escape.

(8)There's no question of accidents or suicides. It's definitely murder.

(9)He had always told himself there would be no question of marriage until he was established in practice.

但注意,如果 there is no question 后接“ of+动名词”时,则 question 只能意谓“可能性”,如:

(10)There is no question of saving him.

(11)The hotel was so noisy that there was no question of getting a full night's sleep.

(12)Gandhi told reporters that there was no question of not having trade with China.

(13)There is no question of his succeeding.

(14)There is no question of our dismissing you.

(15)There was no question of his working the paddocks, for his brothers didn't want him, nor did he want a kind of life he had always hated.
