not one of them 可与none of them 互换吗？

有一读者问： 《新概念英语》第二册中有一句：

So far, not one of them has been struck down by sudden death.

句中 not one of them 可否改为 none of them?

not one of them 可以与 none of them 互换。但 not one of them 语气较 none of them 稍强，并须用单数动词，而 none of them 之后则多用复数动词。
