firm是两人或两人以上合办的企业，一个人独办的企业不可叫做firm。可以说the firm of Harrison & Co. 等。

set...on fire和set fire to都作“放火使…烧起来”解，如Someone set the house on fire和Someone set fire to the house。

finish后面接动名词，不接不定式，如可以说I have finished correcting the composition，不可说I have finished to correct the composition。
