move（动议、提议）后面接以that引导的从句，从句里用虚拟现在式，如I move that the time be（不用is）changed和I moved that the time be（不用was）changed。

mouthful的复数形式是mouthfuls，不是mouthsful。

by word of mouth（口头地）中没有a或the。

motion后面接宾语和不定式跟motion to后面接宾语和不定式意思相同。例如：He motioned (to) me to take a seat.

mother-of-pearl是物质名词。

fatherland（祖国）跟motherland没有什么区别。
