单词的用法及固定搭配

allot（分配）可以有双宾语。例如：They allotted the family three rooms.

alleyway（狭巷）只用在美国，在英国用alley。

be allergic to作“厌恶”、“极不喜欢”解。He is allergic to eggs, She is allergic to music等句子里的allergic原来是一种误用

allege有“虽然有人断言或宣称，却未必可靠”的意思，如It is alleged that they will be married soon是“据说他们不久就将结婚”

all-around是美国英语，相当于英国英语all-round。

we all, us all和all of us都可以说，you all, they all, them all, it all, all of you, all of them和all of it也都可以说。

alive是表语形容词，所以不可说very alive，该说much alive或very much alive。

alike是表语形容词，所以不可说very alike，该说much alike 或very much alike。用very much比用much普通。
