单词的用法及固定搭配

repeat作“重复”解，repeat again是“第二次重复”，连着本身的一次共有三次。

repay a visit（回访）现在不及return a visit普通。

“赔偿”通常用复数形式reparations。例如：They demanded reparations for the damage.

The mistake is easily reparable里用reparable，不用repairable。

in repair（完好的）=in good repair，out of repair（不完好的、失修的）=in bad repair。注意good和bad的前面没有a。

rent统指“租金”，a rent是“一项租金”，rents是“多项租金”，rental是“租金的额（不论一项或多项）”。比较下面四句：

a complete rendition（翻译）of Shakespeare和her rendition（演奏）of a piano solo里的rendition主要是美国用法，在英国通常用rendering。

render（使）后面接宾语和表语。例如：The rain rendered the journey difficult.和The rain rendered the journey an impossibility.那宾语后面不可接不定式

remove作“搬家”解是不及物动词。
