深入解读
Feat 一词源自拉丁语 factum （完成的事情），14世纪中期经古法语 fait （行动、行为、成就）以及英国法语 fet 进入英语后，原本也是用来表示“行动、行为”。
等到了15世纪后， feat 开始从源自法语 fait d'armes （英勇事迹）的短语 feat of arms 发展出今天的主要含义指“功绩、业绩、英勇事迹”，常作褒义词用来形容需要极大勇气、技巧或力量的成就或壮举，比如：
此外， feat 也可以用来表示极具技巧、耐力或独创性的“技艺、武艺”，比如：
- 那个身体灵活的女孩表演了一套惊人的杂技功夫。

值得注意的是， feat 与熟词 foot （脚）的复数 feet 既十分形似又发音相同，在听说读写时要小心区别。
而在音乐APP中经常看到的 feat. 则是英语单词 featuring （以……为特色的、给……以显著地位的）的缩写，即用来指本首歌包含了另一位音乐家的简短或客串表演，比如“野狼Disco（feat.陈伟霆）”。
