深入解读
Tepid 是一个与单词 trepid （惊恐的、不安的、胆小的）以及 intrepid （勇猛的、无畏的）形近且容易相混淆的单词。
该词源自拉丁语 tepere （适度温暖的），15世纪经拉丁语 tepidus （微温的）进入英语后也是用来表示“微温的、温吞的、不冷不热的”，主要指水等液体微温或微热的，有时带有因温度不够而并不舒服的意味，好比放久降温之后的泡澡水虽然尚有余温，若不换水直接去洗就不太舒服，比如：
