深入解读
Enamoured （美式英语中常拼作 enamored）一词是动词 enamour 的过去分词。而 enamour 则是由前缀 en- （置于……之中；进入某种状态，使成为）+ amour （恋情）构成，故用来表示“使倾心、使喜爱、使迷恋”。
不过 enamour 一般很少单独使用，而是常用被动搭配 enamoured of/with sb 表示“迷恋或倾心于某人”，多作书面用语使用，意味着完全沉浸在强烈的爱恋之中，比如：
- 十分倾心于一个姑娘
be much enamoured of a girl
或者常用被动搭配 enamoured of/with sth 表示“喜爱、酷爱或迷恋某个事物”，多作正式用语使用，也就是像迷恋某人那般非常喜欢或欣赏某个事物，比如：
- 他不是很喜欢这种助兴表演。
He was less than enamoured of the sideshow.
