深入解读
Tact 一词源自拉丁语 tangere （触摸）的词根 tactus （触摸、触觉），17世纪中期进入英语后相应也是用来表示“触觉”。
等到了1804年后，随着法语同源词 tact （有分寸、知轻重）的发展， tact 也开始主要用来表示处事、言谈等的“老练、圆通、得体、乖巧、机敏、手腕”，主要指能够谨慎处理困难或尴尬的情况，并且敏锐地意识到该做什么或该说什么，以保持与他人的良好关系或者避免冒犯他人，常意味一种微妙和富有同情心的感知，比如：
- 她明确指出了那个新手的错误所在，既委婉又体贴。
She pointed out with tact and sensitivity exactly where the novice had gone wrong. - 他从来不懂什么处事技巧，大家都不喜欢他那生硬的态度。
