在作“为纪念某人而立的纪念碑等或写的纪念文集等”解的时候，memorial后面接to或of。例如：a memorial to Lu Xun（鲁迅纪念碑）和He wrote a memorial of the late H. W. Fowler.（他写了一篇纪念已故H. W. Fowler先生的文章。）
