在英国作家路易斯·卡罗尔所作的小说《爱丽丝镜中奇遇》（Through the Looking Glass，1872年出版）中，一对胖胖的双胞胎角色分别叫做Tweedledum和Tweedledee，这两个名字因此流传开来。
