区别辨析 as if 与 as though

  • It looks as if/though it's going to rain.

  • You look as if/though you'd seen a ghost. (You look so surprised!)

  • You look as if you've been running.
  • You look as if you know each other.
  • Why is she looking at me as though she knew me? I've never seen her before in my life.

  • He glanced about as if (he was) in search of something.
  • He paused as if expecting me to speak.

 (4) as if/though

  • He paused, as if to let the painful memories pass.
  • When she had finished, she waited as if/though (she was waiting) for a reply.

 (5) 在虚拟的比较中,用were代替was(was也可以用,特别是在口语中)。

  • She looked almost as if she were drunk.
  • He looked at me as if I were mad.

  • She started kissing him like they were on their honeymoon.
