[正] Someone is ill in my family.
[注] 英语 patient 并不完全等同于汉语的“病人”。patient 仅指与医生相对而言的“病人”或与医院有关的“病人”。如：The doctor had several patients waiting to see him. 这个医生有好几个病人等他看。The hospital has not enough doctors and too many patients. 这家医院医生不够，病人太多。如果你要说某人有病，“他是病人”，你得说 He’s a sick man 或 He’s ill.
