(2) bear on/upon还表示“以某种方式影响某人，使吃亏”的意思。 常在动词后加上副词或其他短语说明影响的方式或程度(通常是不好的)。
- The rise in the cost of living bears hard/severely/heavily on people living on fixed incomes.
生活费用的上涨严重影响了靠固定收入生活的人们。
(3) 用have a bearing on/upon时，有时可在bearing前加上定语，说明“对……有什么样的关系”。
- His attitude has an extremely important bearing on the solution of the problem.
他的态度对于该问题的解决有着极为重要的关系。 - These decisions will have a vital/direct/no bearing on the carrying out of the plan.
这些决定将对该计划的实施有重大的/有直接的/没有关系。
