(1) depart可表示“离开,动身,出发,起航”,用from接出发地,用for接目的地。还可表示“背离,不按……行事”,与from连用。

②有时deviate用作及物动词,意为“使偏离”。
- They could not be deviated from what they believed to be their duty.

(3) diverge表示“岔开,分出,离开,偏离”,可用于具体事物,也可用于抽象事物,后接from。
- He diverges increasingly from the right path.
他越来越偏离正确道路。 - After university their lives diverged and they did not meet again for 50 years.

(4) divert意为“引开,使转入”,是及物动词,可用于具体事物,也可引申用于抽象意义,后接from。
