(1) 形容词open意思是“开着”，表状态；而opened只用作动词，指“开”的动作。
- Are the banks open today?
今天银行开门吗？ - There must be an open window somewhere — I can feel cold air coming in.
哪儿一定有个敞着的窗户，我能感觉到有冷空气进来。 - The post office is opened at 9 o'clock in the morning.
邮局上午9点开门。 - The Jinan-Qingdao expressway will soon be opened to/for traffic.
济青高速公路不久将通车。
注意：closed和shut既可以用作形容词表示状态，也可用来作动词，表示动作。
- Are the windows closed/shut?
窗户都关了吗？ - He closed/shut the windows and then went to bed.
他关好窗户，然后去睡觉。
(2) open用作形容词，有引申用法。
- The evidence is not enough; it is open to doubt.
证据不足，有怀疑余地。 - I have indicated what I think should be done to fulfill our task, but if you can think of a better course of action, I am open to your suggestions.
