toast, drink to, drink (to) one's health, propose a toast (to) 与 propose sb.'s health 这些是酒宴场合用于祝酒的用语。

 (1) toast既可作名词，意为“祝酒(词)、被祝酒的人”；又可作及物动词，意为“向……祝酒”。

• There were several toasts at the dinner party.
  晚宴上有几轮祝酒。
• The king was the first toast drunk by the officers.
  国王是官员们第一个举杯祝颂健康的人。
• Friends, I give you a toast — to our successfully winning the bid for holding the 2008 Olympic Games！

• Let's all toast the bride and groom.
  让我们大家为新郎新娘的幸福干杯。
• The guests toasted the health of the newly married couple.

 (2) drink to指“为(某人、某人的健康、幸福、成功等)干杯；为……祝酒”。

• We drink to your great success in your scientific research.
  为你在科学研究工作中取得的重大成功而干杯。
• Let's drink to the great friendship between our two peoples.
  让我们为我们两国人民之间伟大的友谊而干杯。
• We drank a toast to his good fortune.
  我们为他的好运干杯。

 (3) drink (to) one's health是指“为某人的健康干杯”。

• Let's drink (to) each other's health .
  让我们为彼此的健康干杯。
• I propose a toast to Mr. John!(较为正式的用法)
  我提议敬一杯约翰先生。

 (4) propose sb.'s health指“提议为某人的健康干杯”，也是较为正式的用法。

• I have the honor of proposing the health of all the ladies present.
  我荣幸地提议为在座的各位女士的健康干杯。
