哈姆雷特

Hamlet is one of Shakespeare's four great tragedies and is often considered the summit of his art. It deals with the psychological torment of a young Danish prince, Hamlet himself, who is racked with the intent to revenge his uncle Claudius for murdering his father and marrying his mother Gertrude. Hamlet's soliloquy “to be or not to be” has always been classic for hundreds of years.

Hamlet's father was King of Denmark and Hamlet was his only son. The king died a strange death and on a chilly night his ghost appears to Hamlet, disclosing to Hamlet that he is murdered by Claudius pouring poison in his ear and demands that Hamlet avenge him. Hamlet made up his mind to kill his uncle and let his mother repent for her sins. He decided to pretend that he had gone mad. He was not a young merry prince as he used to be.
哈姆雷特的父亲是丹麦国王，哈姆雷特是他的独生子。一天国王突然离奇死亡。在一个寒冷的深夜，老国王的亡魂出现，告诉哈姆雷特是克劳狄斯把毒药倒进他耳朵里害死了他，并要哈姆雷特为自己报仇。得知秘密的哈姆雷特决定要杀死他的叔叔并让他的母亲为她的罪行忏悔。那天晚上，哈姆雷特决定装疯。他不再是从前那位年轻、快乐的王子了。

In a secret meeting with his mother, Hamlet killed Polonius (Ophelia's father) because he thought he was Claudius. Ophelia's brother Laertes decided to kill Hamlet in revenge. He challenged Hamlet to a duel. Vicious Claudius had poison placed on the tip of Laertes' rapier and put a cup of poison within Hamlet's reach. Gertrude drank the poisoned wine without knowing and died. Hamlet fatally killed the king with the poisoned sword. But the prince and Laertes both died in the end.
在和母后乔特鲁德的一次秘密会面中，哈姆雷特误杀了(奥菲莉亚的父亲)波洛涅斯，因为他以为那是克劳狄斯。奥菲莉亚的哥哥雷欧提斯意欲复仇，提出与哈姆雷特决斗。居心险恶的克劳狄斯把毒药涂抹在雷欧提斯的剑上，又把一杯毒酒放在哈姆雷特跟前。不料乔特鲁德误食毒酒，一命呜呼。哈姆雷特最终用毒箭杀死了国王。然而他与雷欧提斯最后也双双倒地而亡。
