Prison Break is an American action television serial drama created by Paul Scheuring. It was broadcast on Fox Broadcasting Company for four seasons. It was premiered on 29 August, 2005, and completed its final season in 2009. Prison Break had the nomination for its first award, the 2005 People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama. And it was also nominated for Golden Globe Awards and Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Main Title Theme Music.

The series follows two brothers. Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) is accused of murdering the brother of Vice President of the United States. Lincoln's brother, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is the only one that is convinced of Lincoln's innocence. While Lincoln awaits the death sentence, Michael, as the engineer who helped design the prison, formulates an escape plan. He commits an armed robbery in order to be arrested in the same prison where his brother is confined. In the prison Fox River State Penitentiary, he learns that it is the conspiracy to put Lincoln in jail. They are hindered by covert agents, members of an organization known as The Company. Breaking out will be more difficult than he thought. But he still decides to stick to it. Michael Scofield's tattoo plays an important part in the first two seasons, containing the finer details of the escape plan.
