有人问： 应如何理解下面两句中的's?

(1)The man you introduced me to's wife is a teacher of English.

(2)I forget what is his name's address.

上述两句中的's仍是名词所有格符号，即省字号。只不过上述句（1）中的短语the man you introduced to和句（2）中的句子what is his name被名词化了。二者皆表人：前句意为“你将我介绍给的那个人”，后者意为“那个某某人”。what is his name相当于另一说法what-d'you-call-him,二者皆为忘记某人名字时所用。
