问如何选择填充它的否定句：

应选A 还是应选 D?
一般说来，如果 must 用以表示推测而意谓“一定”或“准是”的话，那么 must 所在的肯定句变为否定句时，它应变为 can not。问题中肯定句中的 must 显然表示推测，所以否定句应为:
(3)He can not be on the playground. （其意是“他不可能在操场上”）
