有一读者问: 下面一句为什么用将来进行时而不用将来一般时?

这里用将来进行时比较好,因为它在此不仅表示结果,而且有强调“不必等我”之意。有时还带有感情色彩。再如:

有时将来进行时还有“警告”的含义,如:
(3)Come on, or the dinner will be getting cold.
将来一般时也常表示结果,但其语气并不强烈,只表示一般的因果关系,如:

(5)Try again and you'll succeed .
