有一读者问这样一句话：

这里为什么用主动不定式to wash?
这里之所以用主动不定式是因为to wash与其前的clothes在逻辑上是动宾关系。这种用作定语的不定式都是及物动词，而及物动词的宾语却置于它的前面，所以语法上将它唤作反射不定式。反射不定式皆属主动式，否则其前的宾语就无法解释了。再如：
(2)There is nothing to fear.
(3)I have my children to consider.
(4)It isn't a thing to talk about — it is a thing to feel.
