主动不定式与被动不定式的区别

有一读者问下面两句有何区别：

(1)The basket is too heavy to carry.

(2)The basket is too heavy to be carried.

句（1）意味着 too heavy for me （或us等）to carry,强调执行者；句（2）则强调受事者 the basket。但我们一般多用主动不定式。
