答案选D,但我认为A也对,因为我见过这样的句子:

have trouble 之后可跟“(in)+动名词”,亦可跟不定式,但二者的含义不同:前者表时间,后者表目的。句(1)显然应选D。因为 reading (或in reading)实际上相当于 while reading。
