英语的名词之后往往用比较固定的介词,而不同的名词之后所用的介词又往往不同。在上述试题中,名词 interest 与名词 admiration 之后就应用不同的介词。后者应后接的介词 for,试题已提供了;前者应后接的介词 in, 试题未予提供,这就是这个句子的错误所在。这种不同名词后应接不同介词的情况,在英语里是比较常见的,再如:
