有一读者问： 有这样两个句子：
(1)I was rather disappointed at not getting the tickets.
(2)We notice that you have years of experience in carrying out the commodity inspection.
问句（1）可否用of替代at? 句（2）是否可用of替代in?
上述句（1）中的动名词前一般应用at，不用of或about，以表示原因或理由，再如：
(3)He was disappointed at not being invited.
disappointed of或about常表示因未得到什么而失望，如：
(4)I was disappointed of my expected rise in May.
(5)What are you so disappointed about ?
顺便提一下，disappointed也常后接in和with。实例如：
(6)His parents were bitterly disappointed in him.
(7)I was disappointed with the book when I had bought it.
上述句（2）中的experience应后接in，不后接of，表示“在……方面”，再如：
(8)He has no experience in teaching English.
experience of...表示“……经验”，与其后的名词或动词的关系比较密切，实例如：
(9)He has no experience of life at sea.
(10)Do you have any experience of working with children?
但有时of与in亦可互换，如：
(11)He has no experience of /in teaching.
