有一读者问： 有这样一道选择题：
(1)If you don't go to the cinema, _____.
A. nor will I B. I don't go to the cinema, too
C. neither do I D. I won't go to the cinema, too
答案为C，为什么不是A呢？
在上述句（1）的句型中，不但if从句应用现在一般时，其主句亦可用现在一般时表示一种必然的结果或安排，所以这里应选C。再如：
(2)If you lose it, you lose everything.
(3)If we miss tonight's train, we have to wait a whole week.
A之不妥处在于： 将来一般时在此表意愿，不合句意。
