这里应选用neither do I

有一读者问: 有这样一道选择题:

(1)If you don't go to the cinema, _____.

A. nor will I B. I don't go to the cinema, too

C. neither do I D. I won't go to the cinema, too

答案为C,为什么不是A呢?

在上述句(1)的句型中,不但if从句应用现在一般时,其主句亦可用现在一般时表示一种必然的结果或安排,所以这里应选C。再如:

(2)If you lose it, you lose everything.

(3)If we miss tonight's train, we have to wait a whole week.

A之不妥处在于: 将来一般时在此表意愿,不合句意。
