not可置于seem之前，也可置于seem之后

有一读者问： 有人说只可说：

(1)He doesn't seem to have read the book.

而不可说：

(2)He seems not to have read the book.

我则认为句（2）也对，对吗？

你是对的，上述句（1）与句（2）都是正确语，但句（2）似乎比较正式。
